Stefanie Otwori is a current senior at the university of Texas at Austin. She’s majoring in psychology with a bachelors of arts in and minors in business and French.
Dr. Samuel Gwaya. He has been a nurse for 17 years, a state investigator for over ten years, a Board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for two years. He has a doctorate in leadership. He is experienced in working with people undergoing crises like those who are suicidal, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, anxiety and depressive disorders.
Dr. Kaniaru is a board certified Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine physician who is passionate about preventing and reversing lifestyle diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease and like diseases.
She was born and raised in Kisii, then immigrated to the US after high school. Kaniaru attended Rutgers University then joined Loma Linda University School of Medicine, where she obtained her medical degree.

She is the author of “The future of medicine”- how to prevent and reverse chronic diseases, to be launched in September 19th 2023. Her goal is to coach people on how to use whole food plant-based nutrition to prevent and reverse diseases.
Daudi Onsongo joined Intel in July of 2018 as a Principal Engineer in Analog Test and Validation. He has over 20 years of experience in technical disciplines spanning Semiconductor Process Technology Development, IC Design and Silicon Validation. He thrives in the intersection of design and process technology – and has built a career around it. He holds 12 patents and has authored or co-authored more than 25 publications. Daudi received his B.S.E.E, M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1996, 2000 and 2003 respectively. From 2003-2006, Daudi worked on process development and yield ramp of IBMs 90nm and 65nm SOI technology nodes. In 2006 he accepted a position in an IBM MSIP design team working on high speed SERDES I/O and delivered designs from 65nm down to 14nm. In addition, he played a key role representing the design team in design-technology-enablement interlocks, where he advocated for design team needs. In April 2015,
Daudi left IBM to take a role in Qualcomm’s Data Center Group where his charter was technical oversight of all SoC development activities related to and dependent on Silicon technology. He provided technical direction to the team through concept, design, tape-out, and new product introduction of the industry’s first ARM-based Server Chip in 10nm (Qualcomm Centriq 2400). In his current role at Intel, Daudi leads development of technical strategies and methodologies to achieve increase yield and ensure high quality analog validation across Intel’s broad offerings. He also oversees the development of methodologies and improved coverage and execution of post-Silicon Electrial Validation. Finally, Daudi provides technical direction for Server HSIO post-Si validation and is actively involved in developing the next generation of Intel technologists.
Daudi lives in Dripping Springs TX with his wife Vanice, son Marasi (12yrs) and daughter Lydia (11yrs). He is originally from Kenya and considers the Austin TX area his second home.

He is a trained and certified Hospital Chaplain.

Dr. Kefa M. Otiso is Professor of Urban and Economic Geography at Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio. He is a past President of the Kenya Scholars and Studies Association and past Commissioner on Ohio’s New African Immigrants Commission. He’s the author of many academic journal articles, books, and press commentaries on topics such as African immigration to the United States. His most recent co-edited book is African Immigrants and the American Experience: Race, Anti-Black Violence, and the Quest for the American Dream (published by Lexington Press in 2023).
David Angwenyi is the Founder and CEO of Global Connections Kenya (GCK) LLC. He teaches Biology at Hopewell Valley Central High School in Pennington, New Jersey.
Since graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Saint Peters University, earning a master’s in science education from Rutgers University, and a Ph.D. from Capella University, David has spent over 15 years with a focus on providing students with experiential learning beyond the classroom.
David Angwenyi is an educator and philanthropist dedicated to expanding the horizons of people from around the globe. David’s global outreach began in 2007 when he led a group of high school students from Hopewell, New Jersey, on a service-learning trip to his birthplace, Nyanchonori Village, Kenya. There, the students worked to develop projects that improved local village life while enriching their perspectives. David has traveled with hundreds of students from the United States to Kenya, enriching the lives of everyone with whom they interact.
David Angwenyi enjoys creating opportunities to teach students about international conflict management and peace building using an interdisciplinary approach that connects science to solving social issues. David was recently selected by the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) to join the 2023 Global Peace Teachers Program cohort.
As an accomplished global leader, David Angwenyi has devoted his personal and professional career to finding ways to link communities and share innovative ideas to improve living conditions for all people. Jacob Ongaki, Ph.D., is a professor of higher education at CMU with many years of academic and professional experience in accounting and finance within the mutual fund industry (accounting, taxation, shareholder distributions and disclosures, and compliance).
Dr. Ongaki is a Co-founder of Grand Granite Diaspora SACCO and Investment. He’s proud of the SACCO/Investment members. He is happy to be associated with Minto's mission and vision of supporting our communities. The main purpose is to create opportunities for individuals and businesses that translate to uplifting the lives of many people. As a SACCO founder, creating members’ financial sovereignty and a culture of volunteerism, accountability, trust, and safeguarding members’ assets are critical tenants of sustainable organizations “Together we uplift lives and transcend into greater heights”.

Additionally, Fred serves as a member of the supervisory committee and chairman of the Exploration Committee at Grand Granite Diaspora Sacco.

Johnes Monyoncho hails from a very humble background-born and raised in Kegutu village, Kisii County. He describes himself as “a recipient of grace,” because of the many challenges he overcame as a child. He believes life is a gift that needs to be nurtured, developed, and then served to humanity.
He holds a Doctor of Nursing degree from the University of Texas Arlington, and has served as a community mental health provider for 12 years. He sees his mission as a community mental health advocate.
